Wanting to keep your car clean seems like a fairly innocuous desire. Yet the environmental consequences of washing it can be huge, given the amount of water used as well as the pollution from the use of non-organic cleaning products. Dropless is an app-based, mobile waterless car washing service revolutionising the way we clean, look after, and maintain our cars.

With a presence already established in London, Surrey, Bristol, Bath and Manchester, Dropless was quickly reaching a critical tipping point. We were tasked with raising visibility to attract new consumers, build reputation with business customers and profile the founder and brand in order to help secure future investment.

With untapped potential to be a legitimate challenger in an antiquated industry rife with unsustainable and unethical practices, our mission was to increase Dropless’ brand awareness as well as establish its credibility and eco-credentials through earned media.

With B2C and B2B messaging around convenience, water saving, sustainability, pollution and workers’ rights, we were able to create and implement a varied news plan with touchpoints across consumer, business, trade, motoring and tech publications.

Our creative pitching resulted in coverage across media outlets such as BBC Click, The Times, The Independent, Car Dealer Magazine, Classic & Sports Car, Fleet News, Daily Express and Auto Express.
